South City Projects (Kolkata) Limited is a private limited company originally incorporated on April 27, 1995 under the provisions of the erstwhile Companies Act, 1956. Pursuant to a change in name, a fresh Certificate of Incorporation was issued by the Registrar of Companies, West Bengal on November 9, 2001, consequent upon the change of name from ‘Damodar Valley Papers Limited’ to ‘South City Projects (Kolkata) Limited’. Further, consequent to conversion of the Company from a public limited company to private company, a fresh Certificate of Incorporation was issued by the Registrar of Companies, West Bengal on June 2, 2026 approving the change of name of the Company from ‘South City Projects (Kolkata) Limited’ to ‘South City Projects (Kolkata) Private Limited’.
The Company is primarily engaged in the business of real estate development, leasing of real estate and provides rental and maintenance services which are related to the overall real estate business.
